The New Testament: An Introduction

An introduction to the writings of the earliest Christians that came to be included in the New Testament. These writings will be examined critically with respect to their social history, religious content, and place within the development of formative Christianity.

Mid-term and term paper.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS

Final essay exam.

Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
