SECTION 01
- This section covers experimental methods used in psychology with an emphasis on cognitive psychology. Students learn to define hypotheses, design and conduct studies, appropriately analyze and interpret data, and
present results in technical
reports. Students also learn to evaluate and critique reported research in the media. The class requires working closely with other students using specialized software, so regular class attendance and participation in

- Numerous research reports, two exams, and a final original experiment.
- Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a
