Psychological Statistics
PSYC 201 SP

This course provides a general introduction to the use of statistics in psychological research. Both descriptive and inferential statistics will be examined in class and in the lab. Special attention will be given to the logic underlying the use of statistics in psychology and the interpretation of statistical analyses. In the lab students will learn to analyze data using a statistical package.

Several in class exams, final exam, homework assignments, and lab assignments.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS

Labs for this course will be scheduled during the first two class meetings. All labs will meet on Mondays.

Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
