Electronics
PHYS 345 SP
This laboratory course will cover the fundamentals of both analog and digital electronics. Beginning with passive DC and AC circuits, analog integrated circuits will be emphasized as a natural connection to the world of
digital logic. The format will be two weekly three-hour laboratory sessions.

Horowitz and Hill, THE ART OF ELECTRONICS
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS
First half of the semester. Preference given to physics majors and upper-class students. Normally followed by PHYS347 in the second half of the semester.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed
Drop/Add form to the Registrar's
Office.
