Special Relativity

This calculus based half-credit, half-semester introduction to special relativity theory progresses from an easy, graphic introduction to a sophisticated, vectorial conclusion.

R. Baierlein, NEWTON TO EINSTEIN

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Weekly problem sets, a "piece-meal take home" exam, and a final exam.

Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
