Music Dept. Colloquium
MUSC 530 SP
Nationally and internationally acclaimed artists and scholars are invited to the music department to speak about their work. The class meets bi-weekly. Typically, a one-hour talk is followed by 30 minutes of questions
and discussions.

Readings are keyed to the particular speaker that week.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS
The Music Department faculty has decided to require attendance at the colloquium series by offering it for credit. Whoever is teaching MUSC510 (Proseminar) will aslo be responsible for MUSC530.
Open only to Music
graduate students.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed
Drop/Add form to the Registrar's
Office.
