Advanced Korean I

This course is designed for students who have completed intermediate Korean or have equivalent proficiency. The goal of this course is further development of sufficient proficiency in spoken and written Korean.

MAJOR READINGS

Integrated Korean, various "authentic text" from newspapers, magazines, movies, and videotapes of TV shows.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Oral presentation, written assignments, quizzes and exams.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS

In addition to scheduled class time, students will be required to attend additional regular class sessions run by teaching apprentices, at times to be arranged. Students seeking more information can see Jane Edwards, Director of International Studies, 313 Fisk Hall, 685-3007.

Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
