Elementary Swahili I

Required Sequence: LANG151 & LANG152.

This course is an introduction to the study of Kiswahlili, the language most widely used in East Africa. Students will receive grounding in grammar and develop through the year conversational ability, while learning about the cultures of East Africa.

Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
