Elementary German--Accelerated
GERM 105 SP

This rigorous double-credit course is designed to present the essentials of German grammar in one semester. It includes practice in aural comprehension, reading, speaking, and writing and is intended for students who have studied at least one other foreign language and have facility in language-learning.

Lovik, Guy, and Chavez, VORSPRUNG and VORSPRUNG: ARBEITSBUCH

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Daily homework and language-laboratory work, weekly tests. Final examination.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS

Please note that this course meets for extended periods Monday through Friday. Thorough preparation is essential, and regular attendance is expected. It is strongly recommended that you speak with the instructor before registering. First-year students should plan to take only two other courses along with GERM105.

Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
