This course is designed to provide a basic understanding of how films are made. The course provides technical training and practical experience along with a background in story structure, script development, directing and postproduction. Attention will be paid to the film camera, sound recording, lighting, cinematography, and editing. Time demands are heavy and irregularly distributed.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed
Drop/Add form to the Registrar's
Office.
