Contemporary American Poetry: Voice & Persona
ENGL 322 SP
This course will examine innovation in form and voice in Contemporary American Poetry. We will pay especial attention to the persona poem. We will read books of poetry rather than reading selections from anthologies;
this
will allow us to discuss THE BOOK as a significant site of effect and experiment.
