This course analyzes William Faulkner's short fiction and his novels in terms of Faulkner as a narrative craftsman and as an epic- and saga-writer. His commentaries on his fiction in interviews are a part of the course, as are some of his adaptations for films.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed
Drop/Add form to the Registrar's
Office.
