East Asian Studies Senior Seminar
EAST 398 SP
This seminar is designed around students' current interests, their research interests, and their experiences in East Asia. It will consist of bi-weekly sessions and will include guest speakers from the East Asian
Studies
faculty. Discussion will be emphasized, and there will be a short writing requirement.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Short papers and presentations as announced and work on final research projects.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS
This course will be linked with the student's senior research project when possible.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed
Drop/Add form to the Registrar's
Office.
