West African Dance I
DANC 260 SP
An introduction through dancing, lecture, reading and video of a variety of West African traditional dances. Students will learn religious, recreational, ceremonial and warrior dance choreographies.

Regular registration. If class is full please use electronic waitlist. Do not contact instructor. Students will perform in the West African Drumming and Dance Concert at the end of the semester.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed
