Introduction to Programming
COMP 112 FA

The course provides an introduction to a high-level programming language. The emphasis will be on writing programs that implement a variety of basic algorithms.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

The grade will be based on programming projects and tests.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS

No formal prerequisites but some familiarity with using computers (editors, files, directories) is assumed.

Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
