This class presents an introduction to diversity of natural communities, patterns and processes in the distribution and abundance of species, relationships of organisms with their physical and biological environments, population dynamics and regulation, interactions among species, flow of nutrients and energy in ecosystems, and conservation of biodiversity.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
