The prospect of cloning a human took a step closer to reality with the cloning of Dolly and other mammals. We will examine the motives of scientists in cloning animals (from mice to humans) and the potential use for these clones. We'll cover some basic developmental and reproductive biology as well as social and ethical considerations.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
