This course presents a survey of developments in printmaking from 1450 to the present, focusing on innovations in woodcut, engraving, etching and lithography as the visual communication of artistic and social thought. It includes lectures and discussions based on slides and original prints in the Davison Art Center collection.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
