Fundamentals of Cultural Anthropology: Understanding the Afghan Conflict
ANTH 102 SP

This course is designed to introduce students to cultural anthropology. Emphasis is placed on understanding humans in the context of socio-cultural systems. Course materials will be drawn from studies of Afghan culture and society.

Seven papers and one group presentation.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS

Students will not be admitted to the course after the first class meeting. Anthropology 102 may be taken only once for credit.

Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
