The Application of Computer-Assisted Design (CAD) to Theatrical Design

This is a tutorial-style course involving the application of computer technology to the principles of theatrical design. Actual designs will be explored using the MacIntosh computer as a design tool. Areas to be investigated include scene, lighting and costume design and technical direction. The use of the computer in design as an alternative to the traditional design process will be stressed.
