History of Drama and Theater II
THEA302 SP

History and analysis of theatrical performance from the seventeenth to the twentieth century, representing major shifts in artistic expression, new classicism, romanticism, realism, symbolism, expressionism, modernism, post modernism. This course investigates theater arts and dramatic texts as representations of cultural norms or provocations.

Grading based on mid term, final examination and research paper.

Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
