Introduction to Theater
THEA101 SP
Students explore how the various theater arts (writing, directing, acting and designing) combine to produce a dramatic performance. Readings, lectures and discussions include a survey of theater history and a
representative selection of plays,
supplemented by guest artist visits from the faculty and other professional theater artists. Students submit written critiques of theatre performances, scene studies, midterm and final examinations.
