Introduction to Research Methods and Design in Psychology

This course will provide an overview of research methods and design used in psychological research and will take students through the research process, from the formulation of a research question through the publication of findings. Topics will include measurement of behavior, choosing subjects for research, study design, conducting a literature review, analyzing and reporting results, and making sense of research findings. Students will also be exposed to computer software packages used in research.
