General Physics Laboratory I
PHYS123 FA
This laboratory is designed to provide experience in physics through the observation and analysis of physical phenomena. Video cameras and computer analysis of captured video clips will be the primary observational
tools.
EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
A lab notebook will be required and evaluated.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS
To be taken concurrently with PHYS113; may be elected by students taking PHYS115. While this course is not required by the Physics Department, students planning to enter the health professions should be aware that a
year of physics WITH LABORATORY is
usually required for admission. Consult your major adviser if you are in doubt about similar requirements in your field. Each laboratory section is limited to 8. Students considering a Physics major are strongly
advised to enroll in one of these section

Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed
Drop/Add form to the Registrar's
Office.
