Aerobics, Beginning
PHED114 SP

The course is designed to introduce the concept of aerobic exercise enhancing total fitness for the individual. The activity is paced for the beginning student with modifications of low impact exercise and is structured to develop the understanding of proper body alignment during exercise. Activity includes work on cardiovascular system, flexibility, strength and endurance.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

While there are no major readings or examinations, attendance is required in all activity classes.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS

Attendance required. First class of each quarter will meet in Freeman Athletic Center classroom. 3rd quarter - 1 section - 114.01 - January 26 - March 10. NOTE: Students must drop this course by March 10.

Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
