Developmental Behavioral Genetics

This seminar will survey research examining cognitive, social, and behavioral development from a behavioral genetics perspective. Among the topics to be discussed are the strengths and weaknesses of twin, family, adoption, and molecular (DNA-based) genetic studies, the implications of advances in genetic technology, and the role of the environment in development.

This is a specialized course in the study area of Developmental Psychology.

Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
