Selected Topics in Molecular Genetics

This is a half semester course. It will be offered in the second half of the semester. This is an intensive course consisting of lectures and discussions of selected topics in molecular biology and genetics. Topics will vary from year to year.

MAJOR READINGS

Recent reviews and research papers relevant to topics mentioned above. In addition, a limited number of guest lectures and discussions are anticipated.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Oral presentations and written critiques of individual topics are required.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS

Course is designed for graduate students, however, seniors may enroll with permission.

Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
