First-Year Latin: Semester II
LAT102 SP

This course is a completion of the survey of Latin grammar begun in LAT101. Students will read from a Latin novel that features shipwrecks, pirates, true love, broken hearts and good examples of most of the Latin constructions learned during the year.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Regular weekly quizzes and assignments; two or three exams; material to prepare for each class.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS

Requirements: LAT101 or the equivalent (normally two to three years of high school Latin). Consultation with the instructor is advised in doubtful cases. Regular class attendance is expected.

Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
