Topics in 20th-Century Italian Literature and Culture

This course is designed for advanced students of Italian to enhance their critical skills (including both oral and written production in Italian) by analyzing a formal variety of integral literary and cultural documents from throughout the 20th century. This course takes as its subject several literary, cultural, and political movements, namely, futurism, fascism, modernism, neorealism, and the ultra-contemporary phenomenon of Cannibalism.
