Crosslistings: WMST281

This course will explore the theme of women and literary production in the 19th and 20th centuries. Our focus will be on the social and historical issues around women who write as well as on the writing or "representation" of women in literature. Readings will include prose, poetry, and criticism.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Two five-page papers and a take-home final exam.

Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
