ENGL217 SP
Examines novels, poetry, and social criticism about London, focusing on the nineteenth century. Analyses the city as the center of empire, a vibrant multi-class and multi-ethnic jigsaw puzzle, seat of crown and
Parliament, city of danger and opportunity.
