Coastal and Estuarine Environments
E&ES350 FA
This course presents detailed analysis of research literature on coastal, estuarine, and coral reef environments and processes. The course will include field trips along the Connecticut River estuary and the northeast
shore of Long Island Sound.
MAJOR READINGS
Numerous readings of articles from the primary literature.
EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Students will be expected to present brief lectures to the class based an analysis of their readings. A term paper and a final exam will both be required.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS
Access to the course is by application to the instructor.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed
Drop/Add form to the Registrar's
Office.
