Modern Dance I

An elementary modern dance class above the introductory level with an emphasis on anatomically sound and efficient movement. Studiowork, readings, and homework assignments focus on experiential anatomy and the
development of strength, endurance, joint
mobility, and technical skills necessary for working in dance technique, improvisation, and choreography.

- Placement on this technical level required by permission of instructor. May be repeated for credit. Students with dance experience outside of Wesleyan may be allowed to pre-register. Please contact instructor.
