Statistical Mechanics and Thermodynamics

Ensemble theory, quantum statistics, ideal and nonideal gas theory, distribution functions and the liquid state, thermodynamic perturbation theory, electrolyte theory and ionic solutions, statistical theory of transport processes, time correlation functions. Introduction to non-equilibrium thermodynamics. Chemical and biological applications. Suitable for advanced graduate students in physical chemistry and chemical physics.
