Introductory Astronomy
ASTR155 FA

This introductory course in astronomy has an emphasis on stars, galaxies, and the Universe. Stellar structure and evolution, galactic structure, normal and active galaxies, and cosmology will be covered. Current problems in astronomy that represent fundamental limitations of our knowledge about the universe will be highlighted. This course serves as a gateway to the major.
