THEA150

Plays for Performance
THEA150 FA

Not Currently Offered

This course is intended as an FYI (First-year Initiative) course, to provide a critical and creative evaluation of thirty or so frequently performed plays, from the ancient Greeks to the present. The 30+ plays will be read outside class; scenes from many of them will be read aloud in class time, and a certain amount of time will be devoted to lecture about and discussion of the works considered. We will place emphasis on the student's written evaluations of the plays in performance as opposed to being analyzed as works of literature.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
