This course examines different religious and philosophical
approaches to nonhuman nature, with a particular focus on
the ethical dimensions of humans' interactions with the
environment. We will look at materials from a variety of
religious traditions and other philosophical and political
perspectives to illuminate classic and contemporary issues.
