This course is an introduction to research and theory on human development, covering physical, cognitive and social development from infancy through adolescence. A cross-cultural perspective will be presented; special emphasis will also be placed on biological influences on development and social issues of childhood.

This is a core course in Developmental Psychology. Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list.
