This course will provide an overview of research methods and design used in psychological research and will take students through the research process, from the formulation of a research question through the publication of findings. Topics will include measurement of behavior, choosing subjects for research, study design, conducting a literature review, analyzing and reporting results, and making sense of research findings. Students will be exposed to a number of computer software packages used in research.
