This course is an exploration of feminist challenges to
traditional ethical theories as well as an examination of
recent feminist approaches to ethical theory at all levels
of theorizing.
MAJOR READINGS
Selected from the works of Marilyn Frye,
Adrienne Rich, Audre Lorde, Mary Daley, Carol Gilligan, Sara
Ruddick, Nel Noddings, Claudin Card, Seyla Benhabib, and
other contemporary feminist philosophers.
EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
2-4 papers, no exams.
Intellectual written journal requiring daily entries.
