The drum pieces taught in the beginning and intermediate classes will be brought to a performing standard. In addition, intricate drum pieces will be taught. Students in this class will be asked to perform on and off the campus.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Compositions and/or exercises are presented orally or in notation. Through practice, students master the assignments from one lesson to the next.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS

Students should pass the beginning and intermediate courses--MUSC445, 446. Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
