Gene Expression: The Translation Step and Its Control MB&B344 SP

This course will cover problems of current research interest in molecular biology with special emphasis on the synthesis, structure, and function of RNA; the synthesis of proteins; the control of genetic activity; and the transfer of genetic information. These topics are discussed as they may relate to the mechanisms underlying hormonal regulation, embryonic development, and cellular differentiation.
