This laboratory course, to be taken concurrently with
BIOL205, provides direct experience with techniques used in
cell biology and genetic research. These include phase
contrast microscopy, spectrophotometry, enzyme assays,
mutagenesis and electrophoresis.

Three hours of
laboratory per week; lab sections, limited to 16 students
each, will be scheduled several afternoons and evenings each
week.
