MB&B211
Classical Experiments in Molecular Biology
MB&B211 FA
Not Currently Offered
This course will expose students to a collection of
important original papers that deal with various aspects of
molecular biology including the elucidation of DNA as the
hereditary material. This exposure may introduce students
to the scientific research paper or serve to further
familiarize them with it. The development of ideas and
experiments as well as an understanding of the experimental
basis for many current textbook facts that form the
foundation of molecular biology will be stressed. Students
will present selected papers, and class discussion of them
will follow each presentation.
