Chaotic Dynamical Systems MATH281 FA

This course is concerned with the mathematics which explains (cf., describes) chaotic dynamical systems-- deterministic systems whose behavior may appear to be random. It is a mathematics course--it deals with abstraction, theorems and proofs, not calculations. On the other hand, for the most part we will deal with concrete systems on the real line or in the plane.
