This work begins the study of Infinite numbers, encountered in almost every branch of higher mathematics. These measure the size of infinite sets. An interesting question is: How many of these represent sizes of sets of real numbers? There are at least two, but the full answer is not known, even today. Some wonders of their arithmetic: m + m = m ; m . m = m. Other related topics include the axiom of choice, ordinal numbers.
