Topics included in this course are organizing data, central measures, measures of variation, distributions, sampling, estimation, condition probability (Bayes' theorem), hypotheis testing, simple regression and correlation. and analysis of variation.

Two or three hour exams; a 3-hour final examination. Frequent homework.

Prerequisites: None except an adequately strong background in high school mathematics. Students who need extra preparation are encouraged to take MATH107 and/or MATH113.
