Sophomore Seminar: Fascism

Sophomore Seminar. This course is a comparative analysis of European fascist movements and ideologies in the first half of the 20th-century, with specific attention to Italy, Germany, Spain, and France. Materials for the seminar will include documentary sources, including films, interpretive studies, and biographies. Four short papers and a major research paper will be required. Priority to sophomores; open to first-year students, juniors and seniors; History majors may count this seminar toward fulfillment of the department's seminar requirement.
