The first part of a two-semester course is designed to
develop the basic language skills: reading, writing,
speaking and listening comprehension, and basic Hebrew
grammar. Emphasis will be on modern Israeli Hebrew. No
previous knowledge of Hebrew is required.

Sara Israeli, and Hilla Kobliner.
EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Daily assignments, weekly oral
and written assignments, weekly quizzes, two tests.

Regular attendance,
class participation and individual work in the language
laboratory are required.
