This course completes the study of ancient greek grammer
begun in GRK 101 and also includes graded readings in
ancient Greek texts, which present a broad and comprehensive
picture of Athenian social life, and include authors from
Homer to Aristophanes. Written exercises are keyed to the
readings.
MAJOR READINGS
FROM ALPHA TO OMEGA: A BEGINNING COURSE IN
CLASSICAL GREEK, or similar textbook.
EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Daily written assignments,
weekly vocabulary and grammar quizzes, midterm and final
examination.
